Stitched INK Content Policy 

 

At Stitched INK, we are committed to providing high-quality printing services while upholding ethical and responsible business practices.  Our content policy is designed to ensure that we maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for our customers and staff, and do not reproduce content that infringes on the rights of others.

 

  1. Content We Refuse.  Stitched INK reserves the right to refuse printing services for content that Stitched Ink determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, to fall within the following categories:
  1. Hate Speech, Political Positions, Candidates, or Officeholders:  Stitched INK will not provide printing or other services concerning any content that promotes hate, uses discriminatory language, or incites violence against individuals or groups based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected characteristic.  Similarly, Stitched INK will refrain from printing materials endorsing specific political positions, candidates, or officeholders.
  2. Obscene, Profane, or Sexual Content:  Stitched INK will not print materials that contain obscene, profane, or sexually explicit content.  This includes any material that is graphically explicit, lewd, or offensive, as determined by Stitched INK in its sole and absolute discretion.
  3. Illegal Activity or Unlawful Content:  Stitched INK will not provide printing services for content that promotes illegal activity, encourages violence, or violates any local, regional, or national laws or regulations.
  4. Defamatory/Inflammatory Statements or Harmful Content:  Stitched INK will not print materials that contain false, defamatory, or inflammatory statements or information, or content that appears likely to harm the name or reputation of individuals, organizations, or groups, as determined by Stitched INK in its sole and absolute discretion.
  5. Privacy:  Stitched INK will not print material that infringes upon an individual’s right to privacy, or which discloses personal or confidential information without prior consent, which prior consent is deemed satisfactory to Stitched INK in its sole and absolute discretion.
    1. Intellectual Property, Customer Attestation By Submission, Agreement to Fully Defend and Indemnify Stitched INK:
    1. Stitched INK respects intellectual property rights and will not print material, if it is determined to be protected by copyright or other intellectual property laws, without proper authorization from the copyright holder or property owner.  However, Stitched INK assumes no obligation or responsibility for determining that material submitted to Stitched INK is free of copyright or other intellectual property protection.  Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit material to Stitched INK for reproduction, printing, or services of any kind.  By submitting material to Stitched INK for printing services of any kind, customer is knowingly and formally attesting to Stitched Ink that it is the lawful owner of the material to be printed and/or that customer possesses the necessary authorization(s) for Stitched INK to print or reproduce the material submitted.  
    2. CUSTOMER SHALL, AT ITS SOLE EXPENSE, DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS, STITCHED INK, AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, AND PERMITTED ASSIGNS (EACH, INDIVIDUALLY, AN “INDEMNIFIED PARTY”), AGAINST ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, DEFICIENCIES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS, JUDGMENTS, SETTLEMENTS, INTEREST, AWARDS, PENALTIES, FINES, COSTS OR EXPENSES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND COSTS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY CLAIM, COMPLAINT, OR CAUSE OF ACTION, THAT AN INDEMNIFIED PARTY’S POSSESSION OR USE OF ANY MATERIAL SUBMITTED BY CUSTOMER INFRINGES OR MISAPPROPRIATES THE PATENT, COPYRIGHT, TRADE SECRET, OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHT OF ANY THIRD PARTY, WHETHER THOSE CLAIMS OR RIGHTS SOUND IN STATUTE, CODE OR REGULATION, OR UNDER COMMON LAW, TORT, OR CONTRACT. 

      Stitched INK strives to maintain a fair and respectful approach to its content policy.  In cases where disagreement arises about the suitability of particular content, Stitched INK’s management team will review the situation on a case-by-case basis, and will make the final determination, in its sole and absolute discretion, as to whether Stitched INK will provide the requested service(s).  

      Please note that this content policy applies to all of Stitched INK’s printing services, including but not limited to apparel, hard goods, banners, and any other materials produced, or services provided by Stitched INK.
